Yup, he's at it again. Thea anti-video game politician from Flordia is making anothe move to make us "gamers" look bad. There was a murder in Louisiana where a 16 year old kill another man. While searching the suspects' house they found several M-Rated games including San Andreas. Jack Thompson then began saying that the games caused this murder.

"Nobody shoots anybody in the face unless you're a hit man or a video gamer," Jack Thompson said to the press.

He has gone overboard. Next time I fear it will be he who is gunned down GTA

Man this guy is pissing me off someone should....no thats not the way, if you do that then he would have proved his point. someone should get a truly addictive M rated game and get him to play, and half way in while he's on the edge of his seat, ask him, do you want to kill somebody now. then the look on his face. he will stoem out of the room whit so much rage that he wont be in public for a while, because after he cools down he will play and play and play and play, untill he cant put up a figth aboutand just give up his figth to ban M rated games.

Polticians always do this becasue they know most parents are against their kids playing videogames because he thinks maybe when he runs again he'll get a few extra votes, but i think he should stick to his cruddy poltics and shut hs ignorant mouth because hes probaly never even played one before in his life except probaly when he was drunk. Its a crude tactic they use to switch peoples attention to things that are actually important in life than an year or anyone being able to play Mature Videogames.

that is a really weak and rediculous statement. How in the hell does he know how people around the world get shot? What about people in the military at war? He's going to claim that nobody in the military shoots their enemies in the face?

and at least when people get shot in the face in a video game, they're NOT REAL. That's the glory of it. That's why people like gaming. They're able to get away with things they would never be able to get away with in real life, and there's absolutely no harm in it. If anything, I think video games are GOOD for people, because they can vent on a digital image rather than a real person.

The self proclaimed HD console "Hardcore" are the Biggest Hypocrites Ever. They constantly act like their so damn superior to Wii gamers, yet they get their panties in a bunch when the PC gamers act superior to THEM.

Is shooting someone in the face any worse than shooting someone in the chest? You're still shooting someone. Also anyone else find it ironic that the author of the topic is named "KillerSniper"... talk about giving them more fuel. A gamer with a name that implies he' s a murderer... and people wonder why video gamers get a bad rep...
