i live in chicago and i've known all theas years that the cubs suck. its not that dusty cant push to play better its just that they dont want to.

He's nothing too special. He is more of a utility player than anything who is not really having a good year. Supposedly he was hurt last year and wasn't able to get to his full potential. Then again look at what happened with Corey Patterson. When with the Cubs he sucked...and now he is doing pretty good with the Orioles.

Like dallasm said...Baker sucks. I mean I know that Guillen is annoying, but at least he can motivate his players. Although the last few games have shown that the Cubs may still have some life in them. They may have lost those Atlanta games but they were right in there in all of the games. Hopefully Prior and that other pitcher (I forgot his name for some reason) are able to come back soon. We need some pitching.

Hopefully the Cubs will eventually redeem themselves of not winning a World series or Pendant for somthing like 98 years!!!

Their best hitter is on the DL and their pitching has had a lot of trouble. Wood has had all manner of trouble and just now made a very unimpressive return to the line-up. Maddux had a horrible May- poor guy. I'm sure Baker has no idea how to fix his little blue wagon, but he's not responsible for the wheels coming off.

Steve Bartman is like the Bill Buckner of Chicago Baseball, funny thing though is he f**ked The Cubbies chance's for advancing in the '03 Cubs/Marlins serie's and he was'nt even an athelete" just a spectator" a touchy-grabby spectator. hence Buckner was an athelete who "may i add seeing numerous replay's of his error" could'nt catch the broad side of a barn

another thing was it just me or did that guy(Steve Bartman) ring a striking resemblance to (Subway) spokesman Jared Fogle? or was it just me?!?
