I'm glad that there were Basketball Game previews. I havent bought one in years so Im getting prepped up for buying one.

I like the preview for Super Mario Bros. 3: Super Mario Advance 4 as well as DBZ: Taiketsu.

Legacy of Kain Defiance looks great. If D-Pad is reading, he probably ensured another purchase for me.

I know that Gamepro has many games that they want to cover in their magazine, but a few issues ago, Jak II was the cover feature, but since there their hasn't been anything said about it. I understand that coverage has to be spread out, especially because GamePro is a multiplatform magazine, I just thought that a game that that merrits a cover feature would get a little more coverage. Its no problem though, I'm already sold on the game. The first was lots of fun, and the comercials for the second have me hook line and sinker.

I am not a big comic book fan. But I do enjoy reading them. I liked the street fighter comic. The art was good and after reading it, I wanted to keep reading. Keep it up.

One final point. In comment to the reviews being short... and a rebuttle to the Head2Head, where one reader was complaining about Gampro favoring PS2: Gamepro isn't written by robots. (except DJ DinoBot) Reviews of a game should be opinionated, biased, and partial. The reason I read GamePro is to get Professional opinions about games that I may potentially buy in the future. Hearing about facts such a graphics and development teams is nice, but the point of reading is to get opinions on the games, no matter if it is a preview, review, or whatever. You guys would be out of a job, if we just wanted to know the facts about a game. If I read an article and it gives me some very sketchy, nonbiased, and doesnt contain an opinion of weather the game sucks or if it rocks, then I get disapointed at the waste of space.

If I pick up an issue that has predominatly more reviews of one consoles' games, it doens't bother me, because I expect to get reviews of games that are most likely to catch my eye or bring light to games that deserve some more credit, but arn't as likely to been seen.

All in all, GamePro rocks.

P.S. The end of the year is nearing, that means that the huge issues with cheap cardboard covers are rapidly approaching. This year I would like to see perferated edges on those covers so I can see the pretty GamePro cover and not have my magazine fall apart in my hands because the binding is badly put togther.

The whole point of any criticism is to say "This is good/this is bad and here is why such a judgement was made." Anybody who thinks differently isn't on the same wavelength.

Why is it surprising that our Tony Hawk's Underground article was good? And did someone post our article online? We did our standard online preview but we did not post our feature, and if someone else did, that's a major problem and I'd like to know so we can approach whoever did it.

Otherwise "the same info" isn't the same info--our screens are exclusive, and Dan was the only person to go down and get that story when he did. It's not like any one mag or site has the exclusive on "THUG will let you create your own player." The basics of the game are always going to be the same no matter who is covering it.

BTW the article on Tony hawk was nicely done surprisingly, too bad the same info was released on the net the day I got the magazine. -_-

The article in the magazine is not a review. It is a preview, with a review of the import version. Remember that we have to work further in advance when making the print mag, and that another magazine had the exclusive for the first print review.

Very, very curious to hear what other people thought of the Street Fighter 4-page comic. There were mixed feelings on our end about that--we all agree the art is gorgeous and it's great to offer that exclusive story, but is this what people want when they pick up GamePro, or do they see it as filler or something? Please let us know, we're thinking about doing more, but we wanna see how you feel about it first.

I'm glasd that Gamecube has some reviews. THey were fun to read and insightful. The entire soul CAliber thing was fun to read. Though I think that the review in the Magazine doesn't match with the one online.

I love that Street Fighter thing. I'm gonna buy the comics now.

I feel less nerdy now also.

Which article?

The Street Fighter came across fine for me. I guess for people who read the magazine for top-notch video-game information will get annoyed by it, but I read Gamepro to enjoy myself for little bits and moments during the day(inbetween Homework, and whatnot). Therefore, it was refreshing to read something like that. Though the entire comic seemed like a teaser to me, which I figure it was.

This cover didn't exactly capture my attention like the previous one did, but it was better in terms of content.
