I am hearing great things about Prince of Persia: SOT. I tried a demo and it rocks. And now GamePro gives it 5.0 Fun, Graphics and Sound and 4.5 on Control. This game has skyrocketed to my top 5 must have games this fall. Amped got good reviews too but SSX3 as expected got better ones. Overall good issue.

I do have a question for Dan though. Did you ever think that writing an article about "Secrets and Lies" with the one about Polybius would get such hugh attention on the internet? I saw the letter about it in the issue asking if anything new happen since then. As expected nothing did come up or exposed.

Just give me a 47" HDTV, all 3 systems and a year supply of pizza and beer I'll be the happiest person on earth.
Final Fantasy is always good. However, I'm going to have to wait for it at the newsstand...I really need to re-subscribe to GP. :\

Dan do you think it is possible to get another page on that fact and fiction article about games again. Maybe like one or two of those in one year. And I hope the next final fantasys are good. The only thing I don't like about XI is the fact that you have to pay to play. Damn.

Play the demo that comes in the December OPM. From what I've heard from people who got it hands on, the game is wicked in it's own ways. It goes back to the ATB system, which was the best part of 7 and 8, and combines the sphere leveling system of !0. Also, depending on the clothing you're wearing, you get certain amounts of experience points. It should be interesting to say the least.

Also, Castlevania looks AWESOME. This is, of course, coming from someone who got at least a mild amusement out of the N64 ones. Forgive me.

At the moment, though, I'm on an old game kick. I'm getting my hands on Saga Frontier and Saga Frontier 2 and finally playing those.

I can tell you the whole story about why some issues have more pages and why others don't, but I have said it several times before, and it might even be in the FAQ. Lemme know if you don't see it there.

I wasn't aware that Secrets and Lies/Polybius got tons of attention...where? I'm happy to hear it. :) Despite the national coverage in our magazine, however, no ROM has surfaced, nobody has contacted me, and I still think the whole thing is a load o' hooey. I was interviewed by a newspaper about it, but that's all...

I would love to ferret out more of those for future issues, yeah--glad you enjoyed it.
