I still remember trading Animal Crossing items w/ Dan. I even sort of stole his town name. His was Hell.. mine became Hades. It's really cool that an editor would put himself down w/ the "commoners" and trade items and tips and whatnot. Like Maestro said, at times it seemed like he was just another Hub member.

I never completely understood the trading system in Animal Crossing. Much less going into someone else's town. I get you need another's memory card, but how did you and Dan end up trading?
