SMB3 was an EXPLOSION of unique ideas.MetalliCube wrote:not only that....i mean cmon 96 lvls with a shitload of secrets ....and all the different coloured yoshi's cmon its no competition...excobar75 wrote:I'm kinda on the fence about that one. I grew up playing both and they both pretty much gave me equal enjoyment. I'd say Super Mario World wins more in the graphics and polish department, but as an overall game if I HAD to choose, I think I gotta give the slight edge to Mario 3. It had more creative worlds, cooler powerups, and was a trickier than Mario World, which seemed to go a little softer on the difficulty. I definetly had more frusterating moments with Mario 3, but ultimately that just made the experience more rewarding when you finally overcame it. Giant/Ice/Sky world > Dinosaur World. I did love star and special world though.nintendoes wrote:but i have to disagree with you mate...smb3 was good, but SMW was the best of all time....OF ALL TIMEexcobar75 wrote:frog suit for the wiiiiiinnnnnnnnnThe Hammer Bros. suit was cool too. . . but it was rare.
