  • The question no gamer should have to answer....

Yea, if you havent already figured it out. I'm bored.

Well, it would surely suck if modern gaming had really devolved this much, but the question stands....

If you could only choose between your games being multiplayer only, or singleplayer with no multiplayer component at all?
And i mean ALL games that you own.

There are several downsides to both.....

Singleplayer only would be good because the game is never going to change. People in the game arent going to randomly stop playing, they are computers. Also, depth in singleplayer campaigns usually make multiplayer look like a joke.

The bad part of only singleplayer games is, obviously, you cant play with your friends.

Good part of multiplayer only is you can stay connected and have fun with your friends, as well as have leaderboards and visible signs of dominating the leaderboards.

Bad thing is, eventually, that game's servers are going to be a barren wasteland, or the whole experiance will devolve into people all using the same loadout because of it's cheap advantages, etc. Also, there's the possibility of not being able to play all the time (longer loading times,) along with bad connection possibilities and moron players in the game that ruin it...

I would have to say singleplayer only

GOGOGOGOGO!!!

Singleplayer.

I have a few friends that we play singleplayer games together anyhow, taking turns and solving the puzzles together.

Single Player. At the end of the day, I play games for my own enjoyment.

1. Eminem 2. Royce 5'9" 3. Redman 4. Andre 3000 5. Scarface

Singleplayer: I don't play much with other people as-is, so it wouldn't be a big loss for me.

I can't wait 'til I'm old enough to feel ways about stuff.

Single player without a shadow of a doubt. The best video games this gen (Bioshock, Metal Gear Solid 4, Uncharted 2, Mass Effect, etc.) are known for their great single player campaigns.

Also, I wouldn't get to play other greats like God of War or Shadow of the Colossus. I'm all about the solo experience. I don't hate multiplayer by any means, but I love nothing better than a AAA campaign.

Single player hands down.

You can call it an action figure. He has action. He falls down a lot.

single player. look at the past generations of games, a majority of them have always been single player.
