I still think achievements are better for comparative purposes but trophies are best for the hardcore/casual argument.

sometimes the developers just half ass the reward system. i've encountered a few rewards where you're given too much points for an easy task, and too little points for a hard task, same goes with trophies. super stardust hd is an example, you get a Gold trophy just for having a partner nearby you for 3 minutes.... and yet you only get a silver for destroying 10 nukes in Endless mode - which takes longer than you'd expect.

I was more referring to Platinum. . .

koopa kids Pictures, Images and Photos You've been owned by Nintendoes.

Im a Level 12 Trophy Whore with 11 Platinums.

But Ill only go after the Trophies if I like the game. I cant deal with playing shitty games just to get Trophies.

Achievements are better cause EVERY game supports achievements, not every game supports trophies. To say trophies are better than achievements is just dumb because you wouldn't even have trophies if it wasn't for achievements.

As billy pointed out. I am a achievement whoer. I have earned 500 more points this weekend. And now I need 300 more to hit a new milestone in my gamerscoer(56k mark).

If you have HALO 3 and have legendary map pak. Here is a furge map for you. And it has the mas amount of rocket launcher you can have in a furge map. And it squall http://www.bungie.net/Online/Halo3UserContentDetails.aspx?h3fileid=73570023 And it has lot weapon then last one and it requaired the mythic map pak to used. http://www.bungie.net/Online/Halo3UserContentDetails.aspx?h3fileid=43124950 < a href="http://profile.mygamercard.net/Dakrkplayer2][img]http://card.mygamercard.net/nxe/Dakrkplayer2.png.">

56,000 isn't really a special number(besides in itself being large), I only count each time I get 10,000 special(like 20,000 or 30,000)

In a way yes.
Though i am only a trophy whore in certain games, In WaW i didnt even bother to get the trophy's, but in Fallout 3 im fucking trying to get all of them, im only 3 away to getting them all

If you trying get 75k by end of 2011. It a step to it. Every thousion on every thing is a milestone. If you go to interstate. There a number change every mile. If we go your way. There would be marker every ten miles on the road. But there is one big one every mile. And a little one every .02 miles. You have heard old saying eye is what the be perseer. It means to each of other poeple will see it diffreint. And you have to think about that befoer you posted that.

If there's is one thing that Microsoft did first it's achievements, and they definitely excel in it.
Micro$oft didn't do achievements first. Many games had arbitrary awards before the first Xbox even released.Explain how they "excel" in it, if you don't mind.

IMO there just better, you don't have to look at 4 different types of achievements like you do with trophies.

That's it? Looking at three different kinds of trophies (aside from the one platinum) makes it worse?

How do you easily differentiate the easy and challenging achievements? You have to look at all the various point values, ranging from 5-50 typically in increments of 5, then you're required to make your own determination on the challenge level for each one. With trophies when you skim through the trophy list for a game, you look for three different colors. It's that simple.

Try not to use broken logic next time...
