I've been an achievement addict since SNES and Super Mario World. I just had to get every star on every stage. LMAO!!!

If there's is one thing that Microsoft did first it's achievements, and they definitely excel in it.

Achievements are just there to give gamers a false sense of satisfaction and accomplishment that the game couldn't otherwise provide, and give cheap means to extend the amount of gameplay. So no I guess you can say I'm not an achievement whore. I only go for achievements if they are not ridiculously impossible and I know I'm actually going to have FUN getting them. Needless to say, my gamer score is 11k right now, so not too bad anyway considering I don't particularly try for them.

The self proclaimed HD console "Hardcore" are the Biggest Hypocrites Ever. They constantly act like their so damn superior to Wii gamers, yet they get their panties in a bunch when the PC gamers act superior to THEM.

Micro$oft didn't do achievements first. Many games had arbitrary awards before the first Xbox even released.

Explain how they "excel" in it, if you don't mind.
