I just upgraded my PS3 to a whopping 320 gigger, and um it was kind of difficult to get the screws off. I mean really, really fucking difficult. I saw the IGN video on youtube and it looked like a breeze. I thought it was going to be a few easy steps, but at the end, I ended up frustrated. After the heartache, and headache I finally got it done.

The reason why I think it was hard to take the screws off, was because of the heat on the harddrive, and probably got the screws stuck in the socket. So if you have a PS3 with a low amount of space, do it as soon as possible, because you will end up going through shit.

One quick question I backed up my PS3 on a external hard drive, does anyone knows if the PS3 is going to erase anything I have on there?

It shouldn't. It should just format the internal drive.

i didn't bother with an external HDD. i used an SD Card to back up all my saves and some of the exclusive music from PSN. but then i bought the slim, and i transfered the saved PS3 data onto a microsd usb adapter via PC. i took the usb adapter and i transfered it to the Slim. and... yeah. i didn't have to do anything else. all my saved data got re-recognized, and even the GTAIV trophy data on the saved file came back in, so i was fuckin' glad. cause that' down of been a bitch to start back over.

HMM um gee lets think really hard shall we? hmm why the fuck would someone upgrade their hdd....gee Im stumped....

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.

I heard that this thing you did with your PS3 is not a easy thing to do. And it also true the slims no longer can do this?

If you have HALO 3 and have legendary map pak. Here is a furge map for you. And it has the mas amount of rocket launcher you can have in a furge map. And it squall http://www.bungie.net/Online/Halo3UserContentDetails.aspx?h3fileid=73570023 And it has lot weapon then last one and it requaired the mythic map pak to used. http://www.bungie.net/Online/Halo3UserContentDetails.aspx?h3fileid=43124950 < a href="http://profile.mygamercard.net/Dakrkplayer2][img]http://card.mygamercard.net/nxe/Dakrkplayer2.png.">

He has a 360. They don't have many games so they don't have to worry about upgrading

The 360 has more games than the PS3, so that was a pretty stupid statement you made. Good job!
