YOU? or the Government?

neither... the government is full of greedy politicians who'd rather give themselves an extra bonus than build a new hospital... and the general public are too stupid to know what the country really needs.......

A Jew. You need to get yourself a Jew.

(Can anyone get the reference, aside from it being a common stereotype?)

Depends. There are certain things that require a collective effort, but those need to be indivisible goods (national defense, roads, etc).

I have a feeling this relates to health care.

I can't wait 'til I'm old enough to feel ways about stuff.

def not the government, people are naturally crooked.

Maybe. I won't confirm nor deny that for fear of starting an argument.

@Diablo:
No, we ar enot STUPID. SOME of us spend beyond our means, but so does the government (with OUR money of course). I don't mind paying taxes for what is addressed in the Constitution, like national defence, but I do mind it when congress votes themselves a raise. Especially since they suck (both sides)
