  • When is gamepro going to take a stronger stance on trolls

Post a Reply

Serious! I have been thiking... I rarely come to this site anymore to discuss games or anything. It seems that gamepro is simply like the internet schoolyard. A place where anything inteligent goes out the windo and is replaces by bashing and trolling.

Crowns are awarded to those who can come up with witty insults instead of having valid points. Granted that this site has always had trolls of some form or another, all sites do. But what has occored to me is that over the past 5 years, since this generation started, all those who seeked to engage in valit discussions and not troll fodder have all but left. Those who used to seek intelligent conversations but stuck areound also participate in less valid conversations in favor of flamewars and fodder.

Is this what Gamepro has become? Can we ever recapture the gamepro of old. The gamepro with valid game discussions and actual real talk. Gamepro where there were always people on, not the same old trolls polluting the place. Its sad, I still hold hope that this site can return to its glory days...at least I can hope.

you are giving them ( the trolls) SOOO much satisfaction right now.

if you'd ignore them and their threads, they would be a pathetic sight, but NOOOO.

If they did, their forum traffic would die, which I assume would cause the website to take a huge loss in hits.

Its probably the only reason people come here anymore.

It's fine the way it is.

Banning people for trolling would be stupid as fuck.

For real. The people that fill those threads, "defending" their console are just as pathetic as the people that start them.

People keep saying I'm trolling. I'm not, I'm just being a dick.

Doesn't play Yoville. I'm not a faggot.

GamePro has always been the wild west of gaming sites for as long as I've known.
