For those few pc gamers that are interested, what do you think of directX 11 when you watch these videos? It's going to be implemented with the newer videocards in the future. It features tesselation and other features.

Here are two videos that demonstrations of it, what is your opinion on it. Imo, its way better than directX 10 and things will be alot more 3d which is demonstrated in the second video. I ran the benchmarks and the stone walls, ground were not 3d like that video since I obviously dont have the right videocard to display that yet.

This user is completely without Sig... Sigless. Not at all Siggy wit' it. This is an ex-Sig.

You know, the features look great, but why can't these have been implemented in DX10 or even DX9 for that matter? More than half of the developers haven't even taken advantage of DX10 and now they are moving on with Windows 7 and DX11. It could have been easily implemented for DX10 and video cards out now. I just boggles my mind how they market DX sometimes.

It's like they are saying screw you gamers, screw you the 90% that still own XP, screw you DX10, and screw you Vista... Well, the screw you Vista part is true, but everything else just seems like a kick in the crotch. Just seems like another Vista and DX10 debacle again... sigh.

................Direct x 11 is gonna be on vista with an update.

This. Dont get me wrong I will be the first in line to buy 2 or 3 of these cards (SLI). The developers need to use the hardware available to them. In theory when these cards hit PC games are going to leave PS3 and 360 in the dust in terms of graphics, physics, and gameplay. Games need to be written to do so though...

yeah, windows 7 is faster. I like it. I haven't purchased the new version as I just uninstalled the Release Client from my pc. I got tired of the pop up about not being genuine, LOL. But yeah, my next build will be with windows 7. I like it.

It just f'n sucks that the version I need is so f'n expensive. I need the online backup and that isn't in the home premium version. F'n sucks. I should've jumped on that Circi

Alot of ppl said, how is this different than directX 10 for example, this video I posted below my post shows that directX 10 can create 3d rocks that takes alot of framerates called parallax occlusion mapping. However it's not full 3d unlike tessellation of the new gpus. It's new technology and not something current videocards can do right now because it will reform all the wireframe of polygons to be in 3d.

Honestly the cell processor sort of creates effects on a very lousy gpu creating very simple polygons because of the gpu power, then they put all these effects from the cell processor. Once again pc gaming, without even much use of the cpu for effects or parrellel processing already defeats that with just the gpu, now they would have new features that would leave consoles in the dust. Now we need developers to take advantage of this feature for their games in the future or else it wouldn't be utilized much like DX10.

another demonstration
