So, tomorrow, Friday, October 09, 2009, NASA's LCROSS, which was launched in June is going to crash into the Moon at 7:30 in the morning. The rocket is the size of a school bus and travels at around 6,000 MPH. They say its for scientific reasons, more specifically to find water on the moon... =/

I think it is more than that...Why is it that ever expedition is now in search for water, either on the moon or on Mars? Yes, I understand the problem of water shortages around the globe, but is it really this bad? People need jobs and the government is wasting it on tomfoolery of looking for water on the moon...

A moon base would be so much easier, than wasting money like that.

So they can have a water supply for a potential base on the Moon, which they hope will provide valuable experience for a future Mars mission by 2025-2030, but that projection looks to be delayed. Anyway you do know that buy spending money on projects like this, it puts money into the workers' pockets.

Wanna know what I think, they wanna place to escape so that when nukes fly all over the place they can get the goverment guys out and leave us people to die.

Watched it this morning, and it was an utter FAILURE!!! NASA couldn't even find the impact crater from the rocket.

You have no idea what kind of revenue the Olympics could have stirred in our economy. I find it hilarious that people want Obama to fail so badly, that they cheered when we didn't get the Olympic vote. Idiots, the lot of them.
