I liked the first one a lot that Rob. I actually just finished watching The devil's rejects 5 minutes ago, that is one weird movie, better than House of a 1,000 corpies though.

I haven't seen the original, but see the new one for yourself instead of going by what other people say. Everyone has their own opinion.
