with the slim coming at 299 and m$ dropping the elite to 299(rumor) it looks like this war is on a equal playing field. no doubt in my mind that sony will wipe the floor with the elite. and since both consoles will be only be 50 dollars more than the wii, we can finally kill off that kiddy console
