I have a real issue with the offline co-op due to the fact that it doesn't save player 2's stats, I've tried creating a new account on my XMB thing , but I don't know how to implement it so that it will save P2's stats. I would like help with this so that my friend doesn't lose his equipment whenever I turn it off.

P.S.

Does the offline co-op allow for more than 2 players? (me and my friend need an extra player)

Is anyone else experiencing this problem, or is my paticular system stupid?

Make a second account on your PS3, no need for a PSN account, and just use that for P2.

In the menu, when Player 2 presses start, a menu comes up, and choose the second account and his stats will be saved

The menu didn't come up, do you have to have an internet connection? Cause mine is wireless and currently out of commission.
