i was browsing through google and i saw that wii was compared to the likes of ps2. well i got new specs and its going to change the way people think about the console.
as you all know the wii has 8 pixel pipelines with 16 TEV stages. this feature has already been utilized by quantum 3. but lets look at an aspect that most of these developers haven't been able to fathom... polycount.
wii has 8 pipelines @ 243 mhz. this gives a fillrate of 1944 megapixels per second [ie: 1.944 bn pixels/sec.] thats kinda high. but then how many 32 pixel triangles can be generated form this fillrate?
1.944 bn/ 32 pixels = 60.750m 32 pixel triangles per second [ of course you know that the actual polygons that are displayed are broken down into triangles]. so thats it. wii performs about 60 million polygons per second.
@ 60 frames per second ..... 1 million polygons per frame
@ 30 frames per second ..... 2 million polygons per frame
But there's more... high voltage discovered this one. its called Imposter / Instancing technology. This technology allows wii to feature a large number of characters on screen with no discernible framerate hit. This means that wii can have hundreds or even thousands of models in the scene. so there you have it. wii is no slotch...

Doubt it. It's still a weak console compared to the other two no matter what "new" specs you throw at people.
Let's see what a game developer (you know, someone who actually makes games) has to say...
"I think this is the last NMH that is going to be developed on Wii," Suda said. "To expand NMH to new possibilities, we need a new platform. Wii is a great platform, but we've done everything we can with it now."~Suda 51

Part of me believes that Suda just wants his game on a console that would have more gamers in his demographic. Sort of like, Media Molecule releasing LBP on PS3. =0P

Without motion NMH would be half of what it is now.

I wouldn't be surprised, and it's understandable. Where the favored demographic is larger, more profits will ensue.

It may be GRAPHICALLY weaker but as far as games (as opposed to movies) it is more powerful than either 360 or PS3.

I haven't played it, but I've heard that several times.

I highly recommend it. . . especially at the price. It has incredible bosses but without the controls I can see it becoming bland. Mac and Feanaro complain about it being repetitive but I feel it is the adrenaline from the motion controls that keeps it exciting between bosses.

Obviously you can't comprehend what I am trying to say (they should up the standard for a GED) but besides that. . . you didn't even make sense. LMAO!!!
