The Playstation 3 is equal to the 360 today. Despite its one year headstart the Playstation 3 managed to close the gap. These two consoles are considered comparable. What I miss is all the Playstation 3 bashing that occurred during it's first two years. Why? I'll tell you why.

The Playstation 3 is probably the only gaming console history to turn around and make haters look like true idiots. It wasn't just gamers but the media too. The whole scandel revolving around this console just proved how wrong everyone was. It was for the laughs that made it most memorable to me. I saw the Playstation 3 for what it truly was.

It was always people's opinions that founded their hatred for the Playstation 3. That's what made it so funny. People would attack the Playstation 3, state their reason, and get proved wrong 2, 4, or 6 months down the road. What made them look like idiots was seeing them move on to another excuse. Sure, it was questionable if they were fanboys or not but it kept happening over and over and over again. Over time it became obvious. They had no reason. It was all emotional. They hated the Playstation 3 and hid their emotions behind gaming related excuses. In the end they really had none. That is why we hear these sales arguments today.

Anyway I want to dedicate this topic to the funny memories of PS3 hatred and how that changed today. lol. Remember that "Sony never won a format war" excuse. That was probably the strongest argument to support Blu-Ray failing. To be honest the odds were very strong that Blu-Ray would fail. I already knew Blu-Ray would become the next format because of Microsoft's hesitant reaction to place HD-DVD into 360s.

That was just one example. In the end the Playstation 3 was hated with a prejudice, by prejudice gamers. Let this be a lesson that prejudice is not a healthy behavior. HDMI anyone?

Replace PS3 with Wii in every sentence. "It was a fad." "It would never work." All of that was surrounding Wii. . . but look.

I'd rather judge right on something and be hated for it than to be prejudice and have people pat me on the back. I stood alone and fed no meat to these lions. I survived feeding them knowledge and wisdom.

Someone takes themsevles way too seriously.

Saturn had some great games. Their biggest mistake was keeping Genesis and Saturn separated.
