I've decided to start playing GTAIV lol....
I've had that game sitting on my shelve for like 6 months now...I feel bad. I heard so mixed responses from gamers that I never really felt like playing it plus I had a ton of other games.
So after all this time what's your honest opinion of the game.

I like saints row 2 better. It doesn't look better but it has more customization.

I would agree with this. I had been a GTA Junkie and after 4 came out and I was in the multiplayer a lot I to sick of the game. I did pull it out and dust it off about 2 weeks ago. Played for about 20mins and took it right back out of my 360 and never looked back.

I loved the first one. the second one seems a lot better too.
GTA has like a more serious tone to it.

Yea I honestly played multiplayer more than the single player..... which is odd for me........ and I too am a huge gta fan but GTAIV just didn't do it for me......... it may have been prettier but it just lacked so much...... I was getting tired of niko's fat cousin calling me wanting to go to the strip club.....
Dude just play it, you own it so just play it. I don't see what the problem is?

i started playing it again 2 weeks ago and havent stoped since then... it really is a long game... add on the fact that i dont have alot of time to game like i used too... great game and isnt over-rated at all... the story gets interesting after a few hours into it.. especially the packie missions(the bank robbery comes to mind).. the MP adds alot of replay value to it.. best sandbox game this gen hands down
