My question has to do with acquiring trophies. There are two traditional ways to get them,by earning them or by cheating (having friends kill themselves so you can prosper,etc,;). Personally I refuse to cheat to ge a trophy without earning it,but what are your thoughts?
I don't try for trophies.
Some times I get them when I'm playing and I'm like "Oh that's cool" then I go back to playing for fun and not pride.
I find trophies so stupid. I mean, especially after playing RE5, and I got one for beating a chapter of the story? What kind of accomplishment is beating a part of the story, of all things?

i think trophies along with achievements are a waste of time if you can only acquire certain ones online with a game that also plays offline. if they're gonna include that shit into a game, then i should be able to have 100% of the benefit to acquire them.

that's nothing new. alot of shooters have one for passing a section of the game in the storyline.
My copy of Fallout 3 sometimes doesn't even give me trophies.
