It has been awhile since I have signed on in the morning and seen these types of threads...mainly from the old school posters...I miss it.

Today had that feeling again. It started with Numos thread about MS winning E3 again...I knew exactly how that thread was going to go and it did not fail to deliver. But it had me intrigued... IAM and others added their threads...the forums felt like they had that buzz again...the arguments were back with their usual underhanded insults...

I don't know what happened to this place over the last few months but it has changed. I guess it is just the evolution of the forums but I have often felt like more of a stranger even though I have been here for a little while now.

A lot of n00bs came in mid-2007 and changed the atmosphere of the site. It went downhill from there.

I hear you and I'm kind of surprised that anyone got excited about much. I was expecting something big from MS and Natal isn't what I was expecting. I hate gimmicks like that. I hope it fails worse than Virtua Boy and 32x.

The only thing I'm interested in is Splinter Cell. Maybe I'm just getting older but the last game I was really pumped up for was Gears 2. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Star Wars Old Republic. It's an MMO but I hope there is some sort of closure from the previous titles.

Well alternative accounts were alright in the past because they added humor, but it got ridculous within the last year or two.
