The mighty 360 stomped the competition once agian. Not that the other systems didnt have good stuff comming but outside of a couple of games, Uncharted 2 is the only one I can think of right now, the PS3 just didnt have anything really compelling shown at the show.
UPDATE: God of War III was demoed. While the demo looked impressive it still doesnt change my assessment. MS had more games demonstrated...
The first L4D was a huge success and ended up being a killer online game, I cant wait to get my hands on L4D2 its going to be great!
I also enjoyed the first Crackdown when it came out. The game was refreshing with its "super agent" spin on the sandbox game letting you jump and climb the building and shit. Now Crackdown 2 is on the horizon and it looks the only improve on what was a great game.
Shadow Complex looks fantastic. A killer 2d throwback game with current gen graphics and gameplay. Its going to be fantastic and its a live game.
Alen Wake is comming early next year. This would be GOTY hands down if it launched this year. The game looks fantastic with awesome use of lighting. The lighting is actually part of the game. You need to shine light on the enemies in order to be able to kill them...WOW. The mood of the game is dark and creepy which should make for an epic experiance.
The new Spinter Cell is almost here. WOW. The game never looked better and is going in such a good direction. The game is said to have no loading at all. So its a contiguas epic experiance from launch all the way until the credits roll. That is amazing. Sam is going to be more bad ass too. They gave him better weapons and stronger moves. One of the complaints is that the game forced you to use stealth because if gang rushed Sam didnt have what it took to kick ass..well that is changing. You can use stelth but if you come to an area where you want to just blast your way through..well...Sam can do it in this game. woohoo.
Project Natal has got to be the most amazing thing at the show period. Totally leapfroggin the wii type motion controls and creating something amazing and complete innovative. its not a controller at all, its a sensor that allows you to be the controller..WTF?? AND IT WORKS MINT! This isnt a half hearted attampt at making a wii rip off dildo controller, this is something completely on the cutting edge. I dont care if it costs $200 I will be first in line.
Well that is it for now. . I love E3...
