(part1)
the ps3 show opened w/ Uncharted 2 and MAG and they immediately set my excitement @ a really high note. i didnt like how they started off w/ ps2 tho. save that 9 year old device for last.
for all those psp owners, FF Dissidea finally got an official date of August 25. I didnt cath Assassins Creed's date. New PSP Go was officially shown and it got a price of 250$ and a date of October. Media Go was announced and it would replace the other media service. Sense Me was also announced and it generates music from the mood u select. this is cool and kinda reminds me of a 2.0 version of Apple's Genius music service. the video service also was said to be natively integrated into the psp & psp go. Gran Torismo psp was shown running on psp go and a cool feature it has is the ability to trade cars w/ friends. there will be 800 cars!!!!! the inevitable happened and yes, it successfully did finally get a damn date. October 1, 2009. MGS Peace Walker got announced and w/ a 2010 date & @ that point, i was feeling like i need to finally get a psp. then the trailer dropped and it solidified that i needed to stop my Nintendo handheld fanboy ways. the psp tease didnt stop either b//c RIGHT after, they announced a RE psp game and showed footage of Jak and Daxter, Socom, Soul Calibur, FF Dissidea, Fat Princess, Motorstorm, Rock Band amongst others. i dont think i can really stay DS only anymore.
FF7 on psn got announced and i wouldav cared.....if i didnt already have it. Infamous, Buzz, Street Fighter, Socom and other companys Home support is said to happen and was put on display and i personally cant wait to have a reason to access home again.
my heart melted when it was announced Rockstar had a new game, Agent, planned exclusively for ps3. i was burnt out tho that there was absolutely nothing to show for it. 1 step @ a time i guess. Assassins Creed 2 gameplay footage was shown and im not sure about it. i mean, it looked great, but im not sure if id still buy it. i still coulnt see wat makes it so much less stale than the 1st, minus the badass flying machine. then the double blade through each neck happened. i was like "O___O". in like 1 showing, my thoughts of Creed had officially changed. afterwords, FF13 got put on display and call me wha u wat, but i thought it looked better on ps3. then the bombshell hit, FF14 Online was announced not only exclusively for ps3, but to also be coming out just next year. that mean ps3 had FF13 Versus AND FF14 exclusive AND coming in 1 year. now i would def call this a milk, but im pretty sure every1 is past that word w/ the FF series lmao.
after the 1st batch of games, sony busted out w/ this prototype of 1 to 1 precision motion sensitivity. it was very impressive. the current prototype model of it looked like a lolipop lol. it reminded me of a real world crysis arcade game when they used it to show off shooting
