Is you video output settings set to HDMI?

I had a similar problem. My HDMI cable was creating a blurred/green screen. I wasn't sure if it was my TV or PS3 and after some investigation, I found out it was my HDMI cable. If you constantly plug and unplug your HDMI, you may have damaged the gold tips. Try another cord if you can.

They all suck if you constantly mess with them, I had "the best" HDMI cable "Monster" for $120 and it broke. Be careful to not mess with them and if you need another one for another system, just buy one rather than switching them back and forth because you will break it like I did.
