Is PS3 60 GB gone? Well, the reason i want one is because of it's ability to run PS2 games, and i have quite a collection of them.
I wonder if 60GB PS3 is gone, i hope not, because there are some PS2 only games, that i would like to play on my PS3 that i will get!

You can still find them but they are rare now and will run you a little more. but you can still find them on websites like ebay and in mom and pop stores...but it will run you more money.

Sony has a down load at the PSN store it says you can play ps2 games with it, but i have no ideal how well it works.
"Real 60 gig ps3's" are pricey.
If you try & buy one make sure its a real 60 gig with backwards compatable not another model with a 60gig drive in it.
Ive seen that scam pop up a few times.
The 80 GB PS3 bundle has backwards compatability.....just make sure it has 4 usb ports and not the new one that has 2 usb ports. But I think they discontinued those also. Goddammit, Sony!
this model has been discontinued 4 almost a year. i have about 100 ps2 games so i made sure this would be the model i got

actually,that download is for allowing games that require a hdd installation to be run on ps3 60,20 and early 80 gig models. i think only 1 or 2 ps2 games needed that,some obscure mmorpg's. completely useless on any new ps3.
someone once told me that my bd player could play games,lol what an idiot!!!!
