Yes, Silent Hill has kind of lost it's way among that tangled halls of gore and head scratching mystery, but Silent Hill: Shattered Memories for the Wii and PS2 looks like it's gonna be the best release in the series yet! I am so hyped. I am a big fan of this series and the idea of removing most or all of the weaponry seemed odd at first but the creators are right. It's just not scary knowing you have such an arsenal of brutal defense mechanisms on your side. This one will leave you running away and hiding, pumping the right kind of adrenaline into your body: FEAR.

Any other words on this upcoming title?

It was made for Wii. The PS2 version is a toned down port. I think it is a timed release too.

All in all though, if they can fix the flaws of The Room and the 5th game, i'd be happy with it.

I'm personally looking forward to this game. Horror is one of my favorite genres and as long as it manages to scare me, it's a win.

Right on. Another one i'm looking forward to is F.E.A.R. 2 and i'll possibly buy Left 4 Dead. Horror is an authentic feeling when it's done right so i'm putting all of these on my "To Buy" list.

I heard Left 4 Dead has made people literally crap their pants. Whether that's true or not, it's pretty cool. Not the crap, the realness of the fear.

Resistance 2 may not be "Horror", but the thrill you get while fending off some frightening enemies is appealing as well. Have you tried that game?

I've played Resistance: Fall of Man but not the second one. Although I do wish I could.
But Left 4 Dead, I'm gonna try to get it on my PC since I don't have a 360. I also still want to play RE5 but people said that's not as scary.

Well RE4 was all guns and violence with almost no thrill.So i've been hesitant on giving 5 a try.I want to pick up the old Code:Veronica even though i heard that sucks, so i might as well try 5 as well.

It looks really good. It is basically a new, re-imagining of the first game. There is no weapons or combat either! Should be scary.
