1.Puzzle-Tetris nothing has more of a vast apeal or more clones. It was accessable to any from 5 to 55 years old.
Simple enough for any but at latter points complex enough for all. Slow enough for all but later faster than most any action game. The game that proved design rules & graphics are a mere interface.
2. Doom The game that changed the standards of gaming more than any other franchies.
Also responsible for creating the intrest in gaming & developement of many of the best people in the industry today.
No game before it offered its level of multi player or screaming fast frame rates. New standards for others to reach for.
Video gaming wouldnt be even close to the same today if not for the release of Doom.
