Simple.
The new look, from the start has been nothing but problems, spammers could make thousands of topics, Ocatgon making new mods, which everyone were friends with but became un-easy because people on here never knew when to joke around with them, if they were gonna joke back or ban them because 1 got offended.
The points system was taken out, alot question why that happened, virus's from ad's people choose to use Explorer 7 without ad block, some are kids who don't know what they are doing and end up getting in trouble from parents and getting pc taken away, nobody really thinks about that stuff but it happens.
Drama, this is #1 cause of a forum killer, plus people who take things serious like if 1 says they hate a game, the other person cusses them out and whats funny is the topic isnt targeting that person its targeting a company, though the person feels the need to cuss them out and belittle them to defend that company, pretty sad.
The Old look of gamepro was much better than this and alot of people would agree with me, the points system and hero status the Hall of fame thing and no problems what so ever far as I am concerned.
New gamepro forums, No point system, No hall of fame status, Bugs out the ass, virus's from ads, blank postings, can spam bomb now, load times are shitty.
Mods need to follow 3 rules.
1. No racist comments.
2. No porno sites.
3. No spam bombing which means 50 topics, not erasing 1-3 topics of the same thing, people want to express themselves even if it has to do with putting down a company, its the poster after him that causes the flaming, cause yeah like I said up there, the topic can be about hating a company but the person gets chewed out for it.
example:
Spikey says microsoft is making him mad cause they copied killzone 2 with some garbage.
Iam comes in topic posts, Listen you fucken douche bag this is a flame and microsoft can do what they fucken want mod delete this topic.
Now Mod listens, people are posting on the topic why or what they have to think only to get a error because the topic is gone, waste of time.
Though it shouldnt even be deleted, its what keeps gamepro going it has been for a long time, but hey im just a old member what do I know.
Anyways I am still sticking around, even though gamepro isnt gonna die because main boards have more people on it and thats where I hang out most of the time but last few weeks the forums have been suffering.
