Yes! just yesterday my friend and I decided the only way I could unbrick my psp (at this time) was too open up my battery and mod it. I took us about 4 hours to finish the Pandora battery and Magic memory stick, but it was all worth it after I saw my psp turn on.

Light 'em up!

How do you "make" a Pandora battery? lol I thought they were sold.

actually, It was suppose to be a free thing, where you could make one by running files on it through a custom firmware PSP, but the files got leaked and people started selling them for money. there is also a way to make one by opening the battery case and taking off the bottom right leg on a Chip labled "IC04" on the circuit board

Huh. That's not a very good way to make a game system, lol.

ha well you know, as long as I could get my psp to work im fine with lol, plus after you do make the pandora battery you can easily downgrade it so you can put on custom firmware

How do you change the battery? I don't get it. It's just a lithium battery.

well I dont know the exact terms or how it works, but what it pretty much does is when you take of the legging of that black chip off the circuit board, it must corrupt I certain part of the circuit board and then makes the battery go into this kind of "stanby mode" where the files from a magic memory stick can be ran.

OIC. I might get a used fat PSP for that.

well actually it is possible to do it on a slim psp battery as well, though you might have to YouTube the process since the circuit board Is a tad bit different.
