It depend on what you want to play.............I have both, but like my PSP more.
Make a list of games you want for both, and pick the one with the most games you want to play. In case of a tie, get the PSP (Blu's tie breaker).

Funny.....I've bought a DS Lite before with a couple dead pixels, but not on either of the two PSPs I've bought.
Hahahaha! Same here never saw a dead pix on my PSP, or my DS................Guess I've been luck.
