De la Hoya was man handled from the moment the bell rang. It was the saddest sight I'd ever seen, De la Hoya at the end of the 7th round not having anything left to continue the match. Pacquiao dismantled him, his speed was outrageous!! Awesome fight but it was one sided. He's the real thing, hope mayweather grows a pair and fights him (coming out of retirement).

DelaHoya is one of the most over rated pieces of trash to ever lace up.

His career took off after winning his fight with Chavez, who by the way was about 3 years past his prime, ... had he met Chavez in his prime, we wouldn't even be having this discussion right now.

Oscar is one of those boring careful fighters that was always afraid to get hit, always defense with him, and he wasn't even good at it like let's say a Chris Byrd, where as Byrd just made you miss and look silly, so it was kind of fun to watch his skill, but DelayHoya looked like a slow and plodding uncoordinated oaf running from anyone that possessed a bit of power

I mean did anyone think that DelayHoya had a chance?

He should've had a chance since he was the bigger (stronger) man. De la Hoya had a six inch reach advantage, all he had to do was use his jab and use his range effectively. I'm glad that Pac beat the crap outta him because I thought the match was bullshit ( a match that De la Hoya basically made himself) because of the size difference.

Battletoads sigWeaponLord sig

size difference means nothing to a someone who can fight. Especially in Boxing. Speed my friend trumps all. In fact the size "advantage" Oscar had was actually his downfall.
