It's been a while since I posted anything in the forums, and since I have nothing better to do, I might as well. I'm partial to the old school of metal myself. NWOBHM, and 80's thrash metal are my idea of how metal should be. Well anyway here it goes:

5.) Phil Anselmo (formally of Pantera)- Pantera is a balls to the wall band and Phil had the vocals to match. This guy growls like a man possessed.
4.) Ronnie James Dio (Elf, Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Dio)- For such a small guy, Dio has a powerful voice that still gets the blood pumping after all these years. He gave us timeless classics like "Heaven and Hell" and "Holy Diver" not to mention the universal metal hand gesture.
3.) Matt Barlow (Iced Earth, Pyramaze)- Iced Earth always had an epic sound and with the 1995 album "Burnt Offerings," came a singer with a ridiculous amount of range. Of all the vocalists I ever heard, Barlow's is one of the most unique.
2.) Rob Halford (Judas Priest, Halford)- This is a no brainer. I mean come on, what metal fan doesn't respect this guy? He truly is a metal god, and I will forever worship his awesomeness.
1.) Bruce Dickinson (Samson, Iron Maiden, Solo)- They didn't call him the "human air siren" for nothing. The scream in "The Number of the Beast" still sends shivers down my spine, it's that awesome.

Well, that's all folks I hope you enjoy the list.

The world chico, and everything in it.

Let's rank people with good voices instead?

I just don't like the list. That's the thing about lists though. They're yours and yours alone. =0)

Mike Patton (Faith No More/Mr. Bungle) and Eric Adams (Manowar) would rip all them to shreds vocally.

Yep.

Haha....I saw Heaven and Hell in the front row....and I just remember how small Dio really is. When he came to our side of the stage, I was almost taller than him on the ground....ha.
