Here's a link to the backward compatibility list for original Xbox games. It hasn't been updated since November of last year. I know a lot of people don't care about backward compatibility but I enjoy my old games and still have a lot for the Xbox that I can't play on the 360.

I still have my original Xbox so right now it isn't that big of a deal, but I don't think my Xbox is going to last too much longer. Right now it takes several tries to get it to read a game, and it locks up a lot during gameplay.

Has MS decided not to update the list anymore? If so there are a lot of great games that they really should have added (Butcher Bay!!!).

From what I've heard, they can't get Butcher Bay to run properly. The same with Deus Ex, and a few others. I guess those games use some codding that's just hard to emulate.

I'm not sure what it would be though.

Well I'm happy with it, seeing as most of the Sega games can be played on the 360.

This user is completely without Sig... Sigless. Not at all Siggy wit' it. This is an ex-Sig.

I see, that sucks but if they can't get it to run it's not their fault. That's probably why most of the games that I have that aren't compatible haven't been added. I guess I'll have to get a new Xbox when mine dies. I think it's the disc drive (which I can change), so if I can find one somewhere I'll be able to fix it myself.

I really don't mind the BC issue that much, because I don't sell my systems, but I'd hate to be someone who sold their Xbox that's waiting to play a certain game that they'll never update.

I think they've given up on making more Xbox games backwards compatible.

I know JPOG isnt on the list and a ton of other kick ass xbox games. Thats partly why I whavent traded my systems in to go current gen. Plus I want to keep my systems and with the reliability issues of the ps3 and 360 I dont want to end up gameless like I did with my ps2.

I think so too. I have to admit that they did pretty well considering. Hopefully they won't make the same mistake with their next console. I really hope they realize that there are a lot of people that want BC in their consoles.

I'd hope that with the hardware issues that the 360 has, MS will have BC in their next console otherwise there's not going to be any way to play your 360 games in ten years aside from an emulator.

Everyone will agree with me on this, you chose that road for yourself not sony or microsoft.

You should of jumped on it like everyone else did at the time.

some didnt but thats their bad also.
