The latest Top 500 supercomputers list is out, and it represents yet another step in a trend that is changing the complexion of this list from year to year. No, I'm not talking about the way that the x86 architecture has taken over the list like kudzu in the past decade, squeezing out classic, special-purpose supercomputer architectures with a combination of high performance and low costs. Intel and AMD have owned this list for some time, and at this point they can claim a presence in close to 90 percent of the systems on it.

Of coarse. I mean to think that it wouldn't be on the list would be outright naive. All that super-fast computing power is outright scary.

Sometimes I'm afraid to turn on my Sony PS3 Home Entertainment Center and Video Game Console, all those 111111's and 0000000's working at break neck speed, curing disease and giving pleasure to millions of lucky fans world wide. It's just too much to bare.

And of coarse Ps3fan1 has a great informative thread, probably created on his beautiful black machine. SHaring all the goodness that is "PS3"

Thank you Ps3fan1. Thank you for enlightening all of the poor 360 owners who are stuck with big muscle bound dummies that cry uncontrollably in all their games. Maybe they should have big guys in every 360 game blubber like little girls. Maybe I'll make a " Gears: River of Tears" level in LBP

The PS3 is by far the Strongest system of the three. I mean...Look how long its been on the bottom holding the first and second places up. Takes some strength to be third since your launch.
