Over at the Bethsoft forums, there's been a claim that Fallout 3 killed his PS3. Since he's only one person, I can't really confirm its mass-awareness. I'm just curious to know if it's happened to any of you.

I have it for my PS3...played it for about 6 hours now since last week

the worst thing that ever happened is that the game froze, and I had to restart my system.

Claims of a game killing a system are almost always bullshit. Most of the time what game the person was playing at the time their system died is just coincidental.

That's very unusual. That's unusually slow for downloads and unusually high for uploads. Most broadband ISPs give you several megs of download bandwidth but the upload bandwidth is almost always horrible with just 384 or 512 kbs being quite common. My connection is Verizon DSL and my download speed is pretty low, 3 mbs. But my upload speed is better than average, 768 kbs.

Lol yea, i used to think CoD4 killed my old PS3 so i was scared to play it again then i realized it was coincidental

maybe he ps3 just happened to die while playing fallout3.
