The game keep you on your toes at all times, im a gamer that loves to explore. In dead space I must say that exploring I try to minimize as much as possible because of monsters/aliens justs poping up and trying their best to kill you. Im only on the third level so far but so far so good, I have noting to complain about in this game. I think one of the cool things in this game is that you could never get lost and that is one of my main problems with role playing games.

So did anyone get past the third level, if so how the hell you get past that monster that pops out the wall and tries to pull you in it . What is the best gun to use to get that damn thing off your leg, I didnt try to use to many guns on it but if you pasted this part of the stage you should be able to recommend a weapon for this task.

This game is a great buy better than fallout and FarCry 2

So it is a RPG right? That's cool. I would get it if I had a PS3 and it was rated "T".

FarCry 2 kicks the shit out of most games. I now look for increasingly ludicrious and awesome ways to burn people alive.

This user is completely without Sig... Sigless. Not at all Siggy wit' it. This is an ex-Sig.

I got all 3 of those, plus "Silent Hill", "Fracture", "Fable 2", "Brother in Arms"...next is "Resistance 2", "Gears 2", "Legendary"...... I honestly don't care what is better than what anymore.

All I know is that I fall asleep with the controller in my hand for over 5 weeks now and have only been disappointed by "Silent Hill" and "Fracture" I', 3/4 of the way through "Fable 2" and I am going to start "Fallout 3" very soon "Resistance" and "Gears" next week...LOL, I can't FN believe it.

In all of my 30+ years of gaming, never have I seen this many games out at one time. I got "Socom", and I haven't played Multiplayer for a while, but I loved "Socom" for the PS2 so this is like a freaking 6 month orgasm!

Anyway Dead Space was a KILLER game but I couldn't help feeling that something was missing. I don't know... don't get me wrong, the game is insane, but not perfect by any means. I also wasn't fond of the creature design, maybe because my friend paints for Dungeon and MTG and I'm used to seeing some pretty sick stuff.
It was great none the less... It's just nice to spend all my time gaming for a change, so I'm greatfull for them all.

I'm on my second run at the game. I'm trying to get all the trophies in the game.

for being a good horror game, too bad it doesn't offer enough replay value.

You have to shoot the yellow colored part of the monster pulling you in.

When I first played the part, I thought it was a cut scene and I didn't fight back at all. I just used the standard handgun (I forgot the name) and shot the weak spot. You'll see a kind of yellowish bubble I think. Sort of like it elbow. Anyways, after he drags you a couple of feet you'll have a few seconds to act, just aim and shoot at the target. You'll know if you're hitting the right spot because you hear the monster make a noise. It doesn't take much.
