now i notice this common trend of once ps exclusives (DMC4, FF13, and Tekken 6), going to 360 and EVERY time 1 does, ppl say "it only makes sence due to the rise in game development". that irrelevant to the fact tho if any of you, like me, remembered than Kaz Harai said "we will not pay for exclusives anymore" and MS jumped the gun to give blank checks out. (keep reading). tho sony HAS actually payed a LITTLE (Valkyre Chronicles is a ps3 exclusive from Sega, FF13 Versus,, Kingdom Hearts 3 and that game spiky posted a thread about Quantum Theory), they are doing whats best/ smart for future sony console sales and focusing on pumping out great 1st pty titles. no other company can buyout these or their games. 1 would say there doing what nintendo does......which is fine b/c thats what ppl bought N systems for (Mario, Zelda).....ok well not so much THIS gen but yea (casual pussies buying it for Wii Fit, Carnival Games, Wii Play.........god it makes me cringe inside). MS is taking a different approach tho and focusing on multipors and picking up sonys "leftovers" persay, that sounds REALLY ban haha but wutev, (they advertise Madden, Rock Band, GTA4 like its their own game) and that wont pan out for them so hot in the future b/c noone SMART buys a 300$ system for multiports ( im assuming the future XB will be 400 or 500). right now, to MS's name, it only has 2 games from its 1st pty houses (Banjo 360 from Rare and Fable 2 from Lionhead). sony has LBP, RFOM franchise, Uncharted franchise, Twisted Metal franchise (2009 FTW), God Of War franchise, Ratchet & Clank franchise, GT franchise, Sly Cooper franchise, Infamous, Jak and Daxter franchise (new trilogy already planned FTW), Socom franchise, Killzone franchise, Warhawk franchise, and Wipeout franchise all to work w/ if they wanted to for their future consoles. new comer Heavy Rain and MAG as well tho i dont see how either of these games can net sequels yet. MAG bn a MMO and no story behind HR that could give me a hint as to future titles. White Knight Chronicles also can be used b/c rarely is there ever a NON-franchised RPD anymore. Heavenly Sword is there too as well as Ico, Rouge Galaxy (could u imagine a next gen version of this O.O), Dark Cloud and (drum roll!!!!) SHADOW OF THE COLOSSUS!!!. hell, i actually WOULDNT be suprised if Legend Of Dragoon got revived late in ps3s life or in the inevitable ps4.

now no fanboy nonsense intended, but i think it can be unanimously agreed that sony has done a great job at what their doing (dumping 3rd pty exclusives and focusing on house pty titles for their console and future consoles) and thats why i stated

why sony is smart w/ games this gen

any thoughts.

PS: Gears Of War is NOT a 1st pty franchise. its a payed for 3rd pty franchise

I absolutely agree, you also forgot the new Rpg coming out, Demon's Soul. Sony has locked down some good looking games with a lot of potential. 360 fanboys will never realize that microsoft are just getting rehash of what used to be sony. Sony is looking more into the future and games that will renew gaming.

I will say this that i am pleased, by what Sony is doing with the PS3. The delays are little dissapointments, but the outcome should be worth it.
