So I'm drinking a beer (or 6) and enjoying Resistance and the LBP and Home betas on my PS3 (which is plugged into the front of my TV) while also switching every now and then to play Gears of War and CoD 4 on my 360 (which is plugged into the back of my TV) and I can't tell you how much fun I'm having, apart from the drinking.
I honestly feel sorry for fanboys. I literally cannot wait until the release of Resistance 2 and Killzone 2, and at the same time I anticipate the release of Gears of War 2. What does it feel like to be a fanboy? Would I be grumpy all the time because my console isn't winning the war or because it's not in every home in every country?
After a long 2 minutes of thinking, I've decided that fanboys must feel like shit. I'm sure Spiky appreciates games like Gears, Mass Effect and Halo but is filled with "too much" pride. He can't openly say, "I like Halo" because we all would reply, "AhhHAHAH, you caved you little pussy bitch!!!". Think of Spiky as a homo, he enjoys the cock but doesn't want to tell anybody, but someday he'll open up to the world... of gay men.
So, I advice everyone, buy all the systems and games you can. I currently own a PS3, 360, Wii and PSP (also an Atari and a few other retro consoles). I recommend owning more than one system because its so much fun. If I'm playing on my PS3 and need to do a quick installation, I hit input on my remote and BAM, I'm playing the NCAA demo on my 360. I feel blessed and filled with knowledge because I'm capable of playing every video game released (except for the DS, which was stolen).
Enjoy video games for what they are, not for exclusive rights or technical specs.
drunken rant/off.
