for people who have been keeping up with the news, what is your thoughts on the $700 billion bailout the gov't is proposing? I think you will find it interesting that they are using our tax money.

I'll only be okay with it if it gets loaded with all sorts of necessary regulations to stop those asshats on Wall Street from ruining the country again.

Stop f'n importing and make more stuff here. Thats the only real answer. We need to start depending on us to bring us out. Not totally but we really need to come up with something else besides loans and continuous importing.

They have not agreed to it just yet. Though it will pass in some form. The hearings of the last few days with the secretary of the treasury was all about this. This is really important to the ailing economy.

Also, CNN did a poll today, 6% approved of the bailout and an astonishing 94% disapproved.

Yeah, I know. I believe its going to pass also. Its amazing how much McCain and obama are against it. They haven't yet come out and say it like that, but after awhile, they get to that point.
