Nothing. Changing a single event at any time in the past could drastically change the future, whether for good or bad it's often hard to tell.
I'm tempted to say that I would go back in time, abduct Jesus Christ, and have him raised far, far away from civilization. But I wouldn't. When I returned to the present it would be almost completely indistinguishable from the world that I had known when I left. Who knows how the world would be changed? Would it be better or worse? It's impossible to know. That's why I wouldn't.
