Panzer Dragoon, Nights into dreams ?
Panzer Dragoon, Nights into dreams ?
I've never played Panzer Dragoon Saga, or other games that people rave about like Dragon Force, but of the Saturn games that I own, my favorites are:
Panzer Dragoon, Panzer Dragoon Zwei, Guardian Heroes, Virtua Fighter 2 (Tekken 3 can kiss my ***), NiGHTS, Sega Rally, Daytona, and more that I can't think of right now.
The Saturn also had a pretty fun version of Duke Nukem 3D, and a decent version of the original Quake. Quake was especially impressive considering that it was on the Saturn. They didn't even bother porting Quake to the PS1 at the time, because they said it couldn't handle it (which was BS, because they ported Quake II). I play Duke 3D more though. I can still play Quake on my Computer, but Duke 3D won't run anymore.
Shiningforce 3 series, dragon force series, albert oddessy, sakura war's, guadian heros, blazing hero's, alot of them.
Sonic R and Guardian Heros.
I forgot to polish the clocks!
I have heard much about Nights. Despite the saturn's hardware limitations, the game is really well made. It is not completely 3d.

World League Soccer is great too.I've heard a lot of Saturn fans rave about the Saturn versions of World Series Baseball. From what they say, they're the greatest baseball games of all time. I think WSB '98 is the fav if I remember correctly.I also need to get my hands on Die Hard Arcade, and Fighter's Megamix. I've played the Arcade version of Die Hard, and I loved it. It even had quick time events which are all the rage in gaming nowadays.

Yeah Die Hard Arcade is like Streets of Rage in 3-D. It's a lot like Shenmue as well. Like the QTEs you mentioned. As for World Series Baseball on Saturn, yeah the physics were really tight and hitting the ball felt realistic.

I'll have to look into WSB on the Saturn. The last Baseball Game I has was RBI Baseball in the NES which I seem to have lost somewhere in a move.
