Drop in comments on gamepro.com. Why?

I always check out the news and usually leave a comment if I have anything to say. But lately, there doesn't seem to be as much news.

I hope I do. But I cant tell who I have to out post. Its making me a little paranoid. Who has what points? How much points do I need to have more then them? No point count just makes this harder. LOL

Yeah its only good in the us and maybe canada. Thats how all the contest here in the states go that I have seen. Some times just in the US. If theres an australian GP maybe they have the same contest?

Summer is always slow with gaming news. We get a few good stories but not many. The FF13 was great.

Yeah. News in the video game business has been kinda lame lately.

I still post on main board, though if you want to know the problem, it's the white background font color you have, its not something I like staring at.

The old gamepro had a different color, it was easy to stare at the color right now is distracting me from the news, I cant stand the left and right also the same color as where I post, plus if you guys made the front main board like the old one but with this new I think it would be better, where I used to click and see the picture, so I got an idea what you guys were talking about, so I can read the artical pictures do help with some of the titles you guys make for them lol

Well to be honest Monsier Marbles, the real issue is that, this forum is pretty user friendly.It almost seems as if the entire site was designed around a better board. Aside from that, it's pretty hard to find myself wanting to go to any other place. I don't want to look at blogs, or check the news articles, or even venture to one of Gamepro's sister sites.

The forums are pretty great... but everything else doesn't seem as interesing at the moment.

In addition, I assume that alot of this has to do with the fact that members like Escobar75 are still having trouble just in the forum area, let alone other aspects of this site. It seems as if many of the members who formally would post in these articles are still having trouble, and they seem to just be slipping through the cracks.

I just haven't found any of the resent news enthralling enough to comment.................... Now pardon me while I go punish my self for using the word enthralling.

It's because the whole redesign makes everything feel more tranquil than it was before. Most of the time when the comments blew up it was discussions and arguments going on between a few members. But now i think everyone has relaxed for now since the redesign. But there's always calm before the storm. So let's enjoy it.

I've actually been commenting more on articles because there isn't as much flaming. I used to avoid the articles because I didn't like all the arguing, here I could control it to an extent.

Besides a lot of the flamers leaving, there also hasn't been much interesting news lately. It's also the time of year that everyone is going back to school and getting ready for the winter. I'm sure the number of comments on the articles will go up. The flamers will be back to arguing, and if they don't, they will be replaced by new levelheaded members.

It's nothing you guys did wrong, the site is set up great. It's more to do with the time of the year, fewer interesting things happening in the gaming world, and people getting used to things being different. I do feel for those that are still having errors though.

The whie color and small black text is starting to hurt my eyes. Could you all mellow the color out some maybe a gretish white or go back to black. It hurst so bad to stare at the screen for more then 10 mins. No wonder why people dont post, it hurts to.
