Lets be completely honest about this. Alot of people are going to cast there vote for the McCain/Palin ticket because they can have a woman as a vp. The same thing goes for Obama being mixed. I am placing my vote strictly on the candidates proposals not there gender or race. The average income in america is under $66,000.00. I was watching CNN earlier today and they posted McCain and Obama's tax proposals beside each other for people making between $30,000-$66,000. McCain's plan would save those people $324 a year while Obama's would save you $1,118. That being said I understand that taxes isn't the only important issue on hand, but why the hell would anyone vote for someone based on gender or race? If you vote for McCain because he has a woman on the ticket, that can come back and bite you in the keister. Some people shouldn't even vote.

so true i know people who would vote for obama just because of his race even if he was going to send in all the troops to iraq just for fun. its just stupid.

You forget that many people don't vote. However, that's beside the point. In this country, everyone is allowed to vote if they so choose. Whether or not they make an informed decision is not for the government to decide.

IF SOMEBODY WANTS TO VOTE based ON GENDER OR RACE THAT IS THEIR PERrOGATIVE... some people wont vote for Obama because hes black...that's on them...just like the Hillary supporters that now will vote Palin just because shes a woman, it makes no sense but ppl will do what they want.

I believe in karma. That means I can do bad things to people all day long and I assume they deserve it...i LOVE this place!

I'd just vote for Barr.....It's voting and not voting at the same time.

most blacks and mixed people will vote for obama purely because he is mixed....deal with it.

and people will love to vote for a canditade who has a female vice president.. that means if mccain dies.. shes prez..
