I remember when Nintendo said that The DS is not the predecessor of the Gameboy. So, when/ if ever will they come out with a new gameboy. Now i seriously doubt that they will since the DS is doing so well but i have to admit that i miss the gameboy and wish they would come out with one....wishful thinking....

The DS may be doing well, but the GameBoy sold eighty million units.

Why are you even bringing up the Dreamcast? What does the Dreamcast have to do with the GameBoy or DS? Honestly, I think the DS is a move forward as far as portable gaming is concerned. I don't think I want a newer GameBoy. They extended the life of GameBoy for many years with the GameBoy micro and GameBoy Advance SP. But then we hardly saw any really good games worth keeping it around. The DS was getting all the attention because it was providing a newer and more fun way to play and interact with our video games. Asking for a new GameBoy would be like asking for a new home console like the SNES. It was a good system, but it would just be going in the wrong direction.

I agree. Unless they give the GAMEBOY Wii graphics. But that'll take years to come. The ds will be way ahead by then.
