After following it for a while and actually hearing what it will deliver, yes.

I'll put my money on Little big planet, all of those games look great but Lbp is the only game offering something completely new (it's also the only non Sequal up there with the exception of spore). Little big planet was the e3 surprise when it won multiple awards over all those other titles.

Im putting my money on Gears of War2 but i think it will be between Gears 2, Metal Gear Solid 4, and Fallout 3.

I think Gears 2 will also be a strong contender. I just think that Gears winning it in 2006 may hurt its chances only two years later, especially when it's on the same console. I mean I think Gears 2 is really pushing the envelope and doing new and exciting things for a sequel, but it's still essentially just more Gears and it won't have the same impact the original did. Also, the original Gears was clearly the definitive next-gen game when it was released. Now there's tons of great games for PS3/360/Wii to choose from and many more coming.

I think Fallout 3 will be GOTY because it's on PC/360/PS3 and looks to offer hours on end of great gameplay. It looks like Bioshock meets Oblivion to me, which speaks volumes about how psyched I am for this one. Add in some kick-ass weapons (pneumatic glove FTW!!) and optional quests and you have a strong contender for GOTY.

Someone realizes how fucking awesome Fallout will be.

its between fallout 3, littlebigplanet and MGS4. I think Gears 2 is good contender as well. The only reason why I wont think it will win, is because it won last time and they usually dont give it twice. Orange Box and Halo 2 were awesome but they didnt win because they already won recently.

I was going to post hotlinks to some new gameplay demo videos for Fallout 3, but I can't post links anymore. I saw one video where the guy is going through the supermarket, and he equips a pneumatic glove and punches a guy's head off in the bathroom and it hits the wall and falls into a closed stall. Now I won't buy a game because it's gory (ahem, Manhunt and Condemned) but that's just F'ing awesome.
