diablo is decent... although the single player is pointless after you beat it... you walk around and all the corpses are still there.... but if you play multiplayer they dissapear every time you shut off the game.... D2 is easily one of my favorite games of all time... if you really are interrested in the games, i suggest you buy the battlechest... it includes the original, D2, and the LOD expansion pack.... and no Battle.net is completely free, no monthly fee like WoW.... btw battle.net is what the online system is called...
thanks that was helpful.
btw how much is the chest and where can i find it?

i think its 30-40$, you can find it everywhere they sell PC games, they even got it at Walmart near me. Btw, this game is so great im not sure d3 will be as good as the 2 firsts.

oh i think D3 will be the best of the series... if not, it will be just as good as LOD... some things have bummed me out about it ( no palladin class) but overall im very excited for this game.... too bad its going to be ATLEAST 2 years....
Diablo is a hard SOB to try and beat alone... trust me I just picked it up again after a lot of years and its hard as hell (uh, excuse the pun). I just recently picked up the Battle Chest a few days and haven't installed it yet on the hopes that this version of Diablo will acknowledge my wireless modem so I can go on Battle.net -- I sure hope so. I also got it so I can finally get D2 and LoD. I HAD II before just never Lord of Destruction. They're all so old though that I don't know if they'll even know how to sense what a wireless modem is.
Does anyone know how to make Diablo I and II read a wireless connection with Battle.net?
Coincidentally, I found my Battle Chest at Meijer for $40 for the ones still trying to find it... if this helps! ^_^

dude its not the wireless modem they have a problem with... when Diablo came out, DSL wasn't created yet... so it has troubles running at anything higher than dial up... D2 and LOD have been updated many times since their release... so they are good to go... btw, i beat diablo by myself... wasnt too hard... i killed diablo like 3 times....
