I dont see an option to change my avatar to a personal one? help on how to do this is appreciated.

BINGO! If you are new player7 you will not be able to customize your avatar. You have to wait until you are a Ninja I believe.

Yeah, they don't apply right now, but people that have joined since the redesign went live can't use custom avatars yet.

Oh yeah, I totally forgot that ranks or posts are not being applied in the new GP. Another sucky part of the new GP.

I don't see what the big deal is about having a custom Avatar. I think they should allow them even if you are a new user. I think it gets more people involved. Just my 2 cents....
