  • PS3 the only Blu-Ray selling well

Post a Reply

It seems the only Blu-Ray dvd player that is selling is the Playstation 3. Everybody knows what happens when something new doesn't catch on (Just like Microsofts HD dvd add on for 360), companies tend to get away from it because they loose money. Are we gonna end up seeing the same thing with companies that are making Blu-Ray dvds. Maybe the Playstation 3 will end up being the only Blu-Ray player on the market. I really dont care because I much rather like playing games on my consoles rather than watch movies on them. But it seems like a pretty interesting topic.

The nearest star is 6,000 light years away. Why is that important? Because I have no idea...

well its adopted better then dvd was...must applaud Sony for adding it to the PS3, one of the best decisions ever

I believe in karma. That means I can do bad things to people all day long and I assume they deserve it...i LOVE this place!
Yeah, I've been thinking of buying a PS3 for the Blu-Ray player as well. I'd rather get a standalone unit but considering that those cost roughly the same thing as a PS3 it seems kinda' foolish. But outside of the PS3 Blu-Ray has been a totally dead format ever since it launched. When it comes to standalone units HD-DVD was killing Blu-Ray. But I guess that doesn't matter when 15 million Blu-Ray players are in PS3s.

Yeah. Forcing yet another of their unnecessary formats on their customers.

unnecessary? very necessary if you like HD. Forcing? dont buy it, i hardly see that as forcing...its just an added feature, if you dont want it dont buy it, get a 360

Everybody knows that it's just a Blu-Ray player that happens to be able to play games.
