Since day one Sony's Playstation 3 has come out the gate as a weak competitor. The blatant choice to incorporate motion sensors into their prestigious controller showed ultimate inferiority. Along side, the addition of hardware, a hard-drive to be exact, only proves more insecurity. With the recent addition of 2.4.....I mean 2.41 and Sony's weak future releases, things are looking bad.

If you take a look at the numbers the PS3 is putting up, you'll notice it for yourself. Games from 3rd party developers aren't selling anywhere near expectations, while the Sony division and first party games are doing quite well....at least in Europe and other countries other than Japan and the number one nation in video game sales, America. That is NEVER a good sign. It's been a problem for most of not all consoles that inevitably failed.

The anticipated Metal Gear Solid 4 was and is praised as one of the best games of all time and yet despite this, it hasn't been a system seller. There may be other opportunities for Sony to regain momentum but nothing on the level of the timeless MGS series. God of War may be the last promising franchise, unless for some reason Sony decides to make a Wiimote of their own, which wouldn't be surprising considering their desperate attempts to duplicate the competition.

The time is running out for Sony and in all honesty it may just be up.

hah hasnt been a system seller!? i know loads of people who bought a ps3 just for this game, also hasnt the ps3 been outselling the 360 since the beginning of the year?

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.
ps3 did not shape out how i expected but they have a few good games.

trying to give gamers all the BASIC EXPECTED features that Microsoft has set the trend for.

It's not just the systems that need to sell. It's also the games. Which was my argument to begin with.

Wow dude. That's just dumb. I like the X360 more than the PS3 but MGS4 sold hella PS3s man. Let me just be honest. Did you see that guy that took 2 years to get his X360 back?? What the fuck? PS3s not finished. I think X360 versions of games do better because of achievements. If Sony advertises the trophy thing right that might change it. Stop being a dumbass and play some games!!

did u read my post? there is tons of people that bought a ps3 just for mgs4, people i know in real and in here
